Historic Langhorne Borough is only one-half square mile yet full of tree-lined streets and gardens.  Though now a seperate government, Langhorne Borough used to be part of Middletown Township which was established in 1692. Today many refer to Langhorne Borough and parts of Middletown Township and as Langhorne.

Middletown Township contains a large business district with many national chains.  In addition, Sesame Place calls it home.
